R.V.P.S. Street Outreach & Victim Service

KCC Academy’s R.V.P.S. The team works every single day to de-escalate violence throughout the Chatham community and surrounding Chicago South Side neighborhoods. Our outreach workers are trusted community members who know these streets, these families, and what it takes to interrupt violence before it escalates.

When violence does occur, R.V.P.S. does not walk away. We stand with victims and families impacted by gun violence providing direct support, trauma-informed guidance, and flexible funding to help them navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
